Do you create book baskets at the beginning of each row?
Book baskets are a great way to rotate your children’s books, keep library books together, or set the stage for a fun week of learning.
Along with the planned activities for rowing a book, we often used book baskets during our homeschool week.
First, I would pull the books from our home library. If I was missing a title of one of the go along books and couldn’t find a substitute on our own book shelves, I would make a list of the titles I wanted to look for at the library.
If possible, I always included multiple copies of our main book title. This allowed us to take turns reading from the book and it was good practice for my son to follow along and turn the pages all on his own.
